    Your name

I wrote your name on a piece of paper, but by accident I threw it away. I wrote your name on my hand, but it
washed away. I wrote your name in the sand, but the waves whispered it away. I wrote your name in my
heart, and forever it will stay.

    Everytime I think of you

I've been having some serious writer's block lately so I'm putting up a poem I wrote a few years ago...

Everytime I think of you, my heart flutters and my breath gets taken away. My long days and nights seem endless as I think only of you and the day I'm lying in your arms. I hunger only for you...nothing more, nothing less. I need you more than life itself. My thoughts and dreams are surrounded by visions of you and me, together, embracing each other forever while gazing into each other's eyes, lost in the moment never to be found by anyone else but us.

    My everything

You gently kissed away my tears and brought a smile to my face,
found the key to my heart and opened it to the world,
mended my broken wings and shown me how to fly,
brushed the storm from my sky bringing out the sun,
stood by me while I faced my fears helping me find the courage to fight and that is why you are forever in my dreams, thoughts, heart, and soul...you are my everything, my future, and my love.

You will treasure it even more when you can share it with someone special.

To realize the value of a friend:
    Lose one.
